If you marry in Los Angeles, California, see guidelines at:

1. Typically, the bride and groom are 18 years old or older. Minimum age is 16, but requires parental consent.

2. Blood test or health certificates are not required to purchase a license.

3. A marriage license can be obtained from a county clerk in the office. Cost is $ 70, payable by cash, check or money order. No credit card payments.

4. Both bride and groom must be product and license and birth certificate.

5. All documents must be in English. Documents in Spanish or another language must be with an English translation by a certified translator.
